Guest Designer!

I was asked to be the Guest Designer this week at the Color Combo Galore blog... what fun this was! I chose red and yellow for my colors and Janet came up with the rest, it was for sure a challenge for me to use only those colors but I'm thrilled with how it turned out!

In other news I am totally up to my ears in boxes, packing like a mad woman!
Jay is TDY for like 4.5 out of the 6 weeks that we have left here so while he is home we are packing fools so I don't have to do SO much on my own.

Yeah... I am um.. celebrating my 6th anniversary of my 29th bday today!!! *snort*

Guess what my lucky little self gets to do for my bday.... clean out closets... go through toys... decide what goes and what stays! JOY!!! not!

I better get back... if I stop the kids stop and if they stop I might not get them started again!

Homegrown!!

Hey all....

Just thought I'd pop in to show you some of the layouts I've done using the MASSIVE Homegrown Kit! These are all (so far) that are part of the Homegrown Spring Survival Program...

Change of Plans...

Things have changed a bit here in the Moreno household.
Most of you know that we have property in Texas on the lake, well it turns out that my uncle will not be able to live on the property as planned until my sister and I are able to make the move there ourselves.
So... what does that mean you ask? (or maybe you didn't ask, but I'll tell ya anyways! LOL)
My sister and I will be moving out there this summer with our kids until the menfolk can follow behind. The property can't sit on it's own out there, it needs someone living on it especially with 2 houses on the property currently, so off Kristi and I go on this adventure. (neither one of us are comfortable with only one of us making the move, so we vowed to do it together if it came to this)

I told the kids last night, sigh... they weren't happy campers. But for the most part, they had a moment and are now getting excited about it. Morgan (the oldest) will have the hardest time, but loves the property so I'm sure it will pass quickly.

I am as excited and nervous about our new adventure. Nervous about being out there on our own, but excited to be living on the property!

Just as I get this blogging thing rolling again, here comes another wrench! We probably won't be making the final move until mid summer, but the packing etc... will start here soon. So.. just FYI if I am not around as much, don't call in the troops or anything!!

Today though... I scrap... I will try to get ahead on some things so taking the time off won't throw too much of a kink in things.

Cards...

Well I went a bit card crazy this weekend so I thought I'd show ya!

Last week a MASSIVE box of beautiful Core'dinations arrived at my door... I'm talking 49 pounds of cardstock... it took everything I had not to put it out on the floor and roll in it! How's that for an image for ya! LOL



Anywho I couldn't wait to dig in, so I made a few cards to share using the fun cardstock!

I used some new awesome Glitz on the first two along with the Core'dinations!

It's been a nice lazy Sunday for us here at the Moreno household. It's the usual.... cleaning house (which always gets cheers from the short ones... NOT) then usually we will head out and go see a movie on base. Sunday is usually family friendly type movies and we can't beat it getting our herd into see a move for under $20, so we rarely pass it up!

For those of you that are still in shock that I have updated my blog, or for that matter that it's TWO days in a row... brace yourself.. I might have something to say tomorrow too! :)

In other good news...I got a call a couple weeks ago to join the Coredinations Cardstock team... seriously!! CARDSTOCK... can you go wrong there... I am giddy over this opportunity!
