So this week will consist of practice and more practice and then hitting the town for donations to help get the boys to Colorado City!

In the meantime Brandy and Jason (thank goodness for them!!) will stay behind and help shuttle the other boys to football camp and then Madison to cheer camp! busy busy... then I will drive back and forth (2.5hrs one way.. nice) to go to the games.... as much as I'd like to go for the week up there... Last night was family night and boy was it fun! My little sister (she's 20) is down for the summer and I am just loving having her here, the kids do too! She has totally fit right in to family nights at Jens and is just one of the bunch now. Last night we made 2 desserts (our share of the potluck dinner) and they were oh so yum... and we've decided we are going to work through the Pampered Chef catalog now and bring desserts each week... does it get any better than that?

The girls are ending their Basketball camp this week.. oh the joys of taking for workout at 8:00am.. then bball at 9-12 for Kenna, then 1-4 for Madison, then baseball practice for Mitchell at 7.... I am pretty much back and forth all day long driving... gotta love that "Summer Vacation".. HA! It's all good though, the kids are loving it! (next week is the boys camp, and district playoffs, then following that one.. football camp, State, and cheer camp.... yippee!! hehe)
We have discovered the pool is open late on T/Th and I'm taking the kids now in the evenings while Mitchell is at practice so they can get in a little extra fun time... I love to have a bit of quite time too sitting and reading!!

Please send a special prayer up for my best friend Chris today, she is in a tough spot with the ex (grrr) and could use a few prayers... love you Chris!

One Crafty Daughter...

Ok so I have to share this story of my daughter who is constantly drawing, painting, and just creating in general.
The other day the boys were playing Nerf basketball in the house and it split in half in the middle of play. The boys worked and worked to get it back together using tape etc...
Then Madison steps in and takes the ball, walks into my craft room and asks for the thread and needles and proceeds to stitch that darn Nerf ball back together... and it worked! Gotta love that.. she totally cracks me up!

We are currently on a hiatus with baseball everynight... yeah!! We have taken advantage of it this week with a trip to the pool, off to see Ice Age (so cute), and of course Wed. Family Night at Jens... tomorrow I am hoping to get the kids out to do something... Six Flags maybe? If I can get myself talked into taking all 5 alone... yikes!
We start back next week and then the following week is district tournament and then if we get that far, State. Should be exciting!
We are gearing up for the busiest part of the summer...
next week basketball camp for both girls
the week following is basketball camp for all 3 boys, and district tournament.
then the last week is the State tourney and football camp for the boys and Madison has cheer camp.
whew... all of this with baseball practice and 8:30am workouts in there... geez!
