Random posting....

Things are the same ol busy around here so I thought I'd just drop in and share a little and show some projects!

We are STILL in baseball mode around here... Mitchell's team is going to playoffs and so there is practice every.single.night. of the week except Wednesday... so we are still living by the almightly baseball Gods! lol

We have been basically just hanging around and enjoying the lazy summer days... after of course we get up early to go to Morgans early workouts... which I have to admit he's only been making maybe twice a week... we must get better at that!! ha!
Wednesday nights have been our highlights.... we usually spend the "family nights" at Jens house with a potluck dinner, the kids in the pool till dark and the adults playing games and such... a FUN night for sure for all!!

To create the leaves: I folded them in half and then crumpled them a bit then I lightly sanded the front to reveal the color core, I love how these look!!

I am trying to get the house, animails (the 2 and 4 legged ones) ready to head to moms house this week... my youngest sister has a dance recital and the girls and I are going to go get to see her, the boys will probably hang back with PaPaw. I am hoping on Sunday to get to take them to Fiesta Texas, the zoo or something... being so busy around her it will be nice to get to just have some fun!

On another note I AM enjoying sleeping in a bit more... yeah Morgan hasn't been feeling well (a beautiful little stomach bug is currently having a field day in our house) so we haven't been doing the morning workouts... which I might add have been moved to 8:30am (insert cuss words here!) We will get started on that again next week! haha

Last night Morgans game was called due to lightening... the boys were playing really well too.. so we get to go back to Albany next week and finish it up... we head out of town this Thursday for another game. Matthew's team won tonight so that means a Friday game for the championship! yeah!! :)

Story of my life right there!

Tonight my oldest has a game out of town, AND my middle son has a game here in town, AND my youngest son has practice here in town. Thank goodness for good friends I tell ya... Jen is going to be the "stand in" cheer-er here in town. I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to the kids leaving town without me, plus Morgan's team will most likely not head to the district playoffs so his games are coming to a close for this season and I want to see all I can. On the other hand the other 2 boys teams will head to the playoffs, so they probably have many more to go!
